Overjet Named to CB Insights’ Digital Health 150 List

Overjet, the national leader in dental AI, is one of this year’s winners in the Clinical Intelligence category.

BOSTON, MA (December 7, 2022) — CB Insights today named Overjet to its fourth-annual Digital Health 150 list, showcasing the most promising private digital health companies of 2022.

Overjet is the national leader in dental artificial intelligence. Its FDA-cleared technology analyzes X-rays in real-time to detect cavities, quantify bone level measurements, and provide clinical insights to help dentists with their clinical decision-making. Tooth decay and gum disease are two of the most common diseases in the world, and are easier to treat when detected early.

“Our mission is to improve oral healthcare for millions of people. In addition to detecting disease, the AI provides a powerful visualization tool, adding color and measurements that enable patients to better understand their oral health. With greater understanding comes greater trust and treatment acceptance,” said Wardah Inam, PhD, the CEO and Co-founder of Overjet.

“From reimagining clinical care to leveraging tech like AR/VR to improve surgical training, this year’s Digital Health 150 winners are transforming the future of healthcare with digital technology,” said Brian Lee, Senior Vice President of CB Insights’ Intelligence Unit. “This increasingly global cohort, representing more than 18 countries across five continents, is not only driving better patient outcomes, but making healthcare more accessible. We are excited to follow the meaningful impact and continued success of this year’s winners.”

Utilizing the CB Insights platform, the research team selected these 150 winners from a pool of over 13,000 private companies, including applicants and nominees. The winners were chosen on a variety of factors including research and development activity, market potential, investor profile, news sentiment analysis, team strength, competitive landscape, proprietary Mosaic scores, and tech novelty. The research team also reviewed more than 3,000 Analyst Briefings submitted by the applicants.

This is the latest honor for the Overjet team. Forbes named Overjet to its list of Top 50 Most Promising AI Companies Shaping the Future. Inc. magazine named Dr. Inam to its Female Founders 100 list, Fortune magazine invited her to speak at their Most Powerful Women Next Generation summit, and she received the prestigious “Excellence in Industry” award from the Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund. To learn more, visit Overjet.com.
